The Krobo Tribe of people reside in Ghana, West Africa. They are known for their powdered glass beads and have been making them since the 19th century, from glass items (like bottles), crush them into a powder and turn them into beads. They come in many colors and designs.
The black and white Krobo beads in this piece are designed to look like Zebra stripes, separated by red Ashanti beads, with strands of white and black bone beads, red African glass seed beads, black emerald cut Swarovski crystal for a contemporary touch with an adjustable chain dangle and silver plated lobster clasp.
All pieces are designed by me. I make all bracelets to fit a standard 6" wrist unless another size is requested. All my bracelets are meant to gently drape from the wrist slightly onto the hand. When measuring for a specific size, please use a soft measuring tape, fitting snugly around the wrist bone. I will take into account the size it needs to be to fit you perfectly. All pieces are one of a kind and not duplicated.
